Delete your Mealyno account
You can delete your Mealyno account and its data at any time. This page applies to the Mealyno website and the Mealyno app for iOS and Android.
In the app (iOS and Android)
- Open Mealyno and go to More, then Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm and sign in again when asked.
- Your account and data are deleted right away and you are signed out.
On the website
Sign in below (or from your profile page), type DELETE, confirm your password or Google account, and press the button.
What is deleted
- Your profile, goals and settings
- Food diary entries, meal plans, shopping lists and saved recipes
- Progress, weight and activity entries, streaks and achievements
- Notifications, usage counters and your subscription record
- Community likes and comments you posted, and shared-plan links
- Your sign-in account (email, Apple or Google login)
What is kept
- Payment records for web (card) subscriptions are kept for accounting and tax purposes, with your identity removed: no name, no email, and the account id is replaced by a one-way hash.
- A deletion log entry with no personal data (a hashed id, the date and technical flags).
When
Deletion happens immediately. Encrypted backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule and no longer contain your data within 30 days.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription that you bought in the App Store or on Google Play. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings so you are not charged again. Web subscriptions paid by card are cancelled automatically when you delete your account.
